On the eve of the 2018 FIFA World Cup (will be held from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities of Russia) the Central Bank of Russia issued a commemorative banknote dedicated to the most anticipated sports event of the year. The 100 rubles banknote is made of polymer materials, on the front side there is an image of a goalkeeper Lev Yashin, and on the reverse side - a map showing the cities in which the 2018 World Cup will be played. The circulation of banknotes amounted to 20 million pieces.
This year, there will also appear new Bitcoin ONE banknotes. They will perform the function of protecting crypto wallets of BTC1 owners against hacker attacks, as well as Bitcoin ONE sales transactions between users. It should be noted that BTC1 bills are not a means of payment.
